What happened is a dramatic reminder of what happened on 19 December 2016 when the Tunisian Islamic extremist Anis Amri he threw himself into the crowd on board a truck, causing a massacre at the Berlin Christmas market. The attack caused 13 deaths and around seventy injuries Anis Amri after a daring escapehe was killed in Sesto San Giovanni around 03.00 in the morning, after shooting at some officers who had stopped him for a routine check near the train station.
