Unioncamere and AI4I sign a protocol to spread AI in Italian SMEs through the network of Digital Enterprise Points.
From territorial experimentation to a national infrastructure for technological adoption. Unioncamere And Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) they signed the Memorandum of Understanding which launches a strategic collaboration to accompany micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in adopting theArtificial intelligence through the network of Chambers of Commerce.
The agreement, we read in a note, defines a shared operating model, which can be adopted throughout the national territory, enhancing the role of the Chambers of Commerce and Digital Enterprise Points (PID) as a privileged channel of access to innovation for SMEs and that of AI4I as a national reference body for industrial research, qualification of supply and matching between supply and demand Artificial intelligence.

The Protocol gives rise to a multi-year collaboration which includes training activities, technological assessment, territorial AI Match initiatives, co-design and development paths. All while enhancing the SUK platform (System for User Knowledge) Of AI4I and accompanying small businesses from understanding needs to implementing solutions. The model can be declined in different territorial contexts maintaining a common methodology and shared tools, with the aim of accelerating the diffusion of theArtificial intelligence in the Italian production system and strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs.
