Bossetti in Belve Crime: the unpublished interview from prison

Protagonist of the first episode is Massimo Bossettithe man condemned to life imprisonment for the murder of the 13 -year -old Yara Gambirasio, which took place on November 26, 2010 in Brembate di Sopra. The sentence, confirmed on appeal and in the Court of Cassation, never stopped Bossetti from declaring himself innocent. In this long interview, built inside the Bollate prison (Milan), where he is detained, the former bricklayer confronts the first time in an extensive and detailed way with the pressing questions of Francesca Fagnani.

During the face to face, Bossetti raises strong criticisms of the ways in which the investigations were conducted, in particular to the use of the genetic analyzes that have stuck it. “It’s all absurd, anomalous and misunderstood”tells Fagnani during the interview.

The defensive approach of man remains unchanged: deny the validity of investigative work, defining the analyzes “made with the ass”. His doubts focus in particular on the presence of nuclear DNA and the absence of the mitochondrial one on the victim’s body. «The nuclear DNA, which normally should be disperse in a few weeks, instead it was still present. The mitochondrial DNA, which is known by everyone that you cannot disperse, was not there “says Bossetti.

Fagnani, for his part, does not give ground. Remember that the quantity of genetic material found on Yara’s briefs was not “even little” and underlines: “The nuclear DNA uniquely highlights the identity of a person”. Precisely for this reason, it is the type of DNA deemed valid in the forensic seat. “However, sorry, then there is a very trivial question to ask,” he carries out the presenter in the only clip released in preview by Rai 2. “But his DNA, how did he end up on Yara’s briefs?”. Again, Bossetti’s response does not change: “That’s what I would like to understand too”.

The other protagonists of the episode

In addition to Bossetti, the first episode of Belve Crime It hosts two other strong testimonies. Space also to the history of Tamara Iannicollaborator of justice who played a decisive role in disinterating the power of the sword clan in Ostia. Thanks to his statements, in January 2018, 32 members of the clan were arrested, linked to the Casamonica, who for years persecuted and terrified of her and her family.
