The new scandal of the lobbyists Huawei, who in Brussels put pressure on Parliament, is the tip of the iceberg. In the Old Continent, Beijing’s interests are guaranteed by a network of support at the highest levels. And not even the industrial crisis in progress questions them.
Angela Merkel used to repeat: what is good for Germany is good for Europe … her dolphin Ursula von der leyen is no different. She realized that with her Green Deal she brought the Union industry to her knees, but above all the German one that churned out cars, with Russian gas a few cents, for the Chinese happy to buy them. It is no longer so: the famous Audi wants to fire 7,500 workers in the next four years. The Volkswagen that closes factories in Germany and is downgraded by the Rating Moody’s agency, however, is convinced that its Eldorado is in Asia, strengthens the alliance with Faw-one of the giants of electric vehicles beyond the great wall-presents 11 models in joint waving with the Chinese in the next two years and wants to sell four million cars in Beijing.

However, on the great media there is no mention of the story, evidently because the Baroness von der Leyen and its majority Ursula (PPE and PSE) do not wish to be disturbed in the “Embrasson Nous” with Beijing sponsored by Macron. But also from a large part of the Italian Democratic Party with the “Confucius” of the Roman olive tree Prodi, a collector of chairs in Chinese universities last, of which they offer him by the Agnelli Foundation.
The professor who has special ties of mutual gratitude with the Turin family is currently the owner of the Chair of Italian Culture of Beijing. The list of exponents of the Democratic Party who cheer for China is long. The consequences are that the interchange between Rome and Beijing has been falling for at least three years, but we are back on it that we export (data referring to nine months of 2024) for 12.7 billion (less 21.3 percent compared to 2023) and we import for 41.7 billion (plus 1.4 percent).
Yet the “bad” who buys 66 billion products per year, however, is Donald Trump.
