Abilmente opens at Superstudio Maxi with 120 exhibitors, the Via delle Idee section and events for children created by Milanese bookshops
For over sixty editions Abilmente has been the point of reference for manual creativity. The autumn edition of the IEG-Italian Exhibiton Group show dedicated to DIY fashion, after Rome and Vicenza, arrives today in Milan in the spaces of Superstudio Maxi in via Moncucco with over 120 exhibitors and a rich program of workshops and talks. To demonstrate how the DIY-Do It Yourself trend is one of the most requested items today, just look at the numbers on social media: the DIY hashtag on Tik Tok alone exceeds 37.5 million posts. A creative movement that combines craftsmanship, fashion, home and decorations.
Gifting
Street of Ideas it is the exhibition section that brings together creations from the different worlds of handmade creativity. Between gift ideas and new production techniques, Abilmente Milano offers various ideas. On the fashion front, the event focuses attention on tailoring with garments in natural fabrics by PatriceLaurianne, with the inclusive style of Sartinbanco and with crochet jewelery by Bijoux Petronille.
Christmas
As the Christmas holidays approach, the artisanal offers are multiplying, as are the Abilmente Academy courses. Don’t miss the courses Candele in fiore, Kookie with Silvia Turci; Paint with Resin for creating coasters; Gift Wrapping with Sabrina Pellati; the pyrography on a wooden cutting board by Annarte Pirografia-Anna Muzzolon and the appointments with tufting, the textile technique for creating rugs, by Aditt LLulla-Vagante Lan&Factory.

Abilmente Milan offers an interesting program of family friendly initiatives with great attention to the world of books and reading. VolumeBK has selected a list of illustration, artisanal and visual culture books; while the Cleio association and Libreria Punta alla Luna organize workshops for the little ones
