Venditti’s archiving in Brescia
On the same day, a provision from the Court of Brescia affected one of the secondary branches of the investigation. The investigating judge accepted the request of the Prosecutor’s Office and archived the position of the former deputy prosecutor of Pavia Mario Vendittiinvestigated for alleged corruption linked to the first filing of Exampleordered in 2017. According to judicial sources cited by ANSA, the hypothesis would remain open towards other people, with the documents intended for transfer to Pavia. The provision concerns the personal position of the former magistrate and does not automatically affect the investigation into the murder of Chiara Poggi.
Consultations towards the deadline of September 28th
The Roman appointment precedes the deadline set by the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office for 28 September, the deadline by which to complete the investigative additions ordered after the first closure of the investigations, notified on 7 May. Three tasks entrusted: to the medical examiner Cristina Cattaneoon the compatibility of the foot of Example with a footprint found in the house in via Pascoli; to the geneticist Carlo Previderèon the biological material isolated under the victim’s nails; to the forensic psychiatrist Roberto Catanesion a personality profile. The DNA knot and the limits of expertise
The most delicate point remains the genetic profile. A definitive sentence and two separate investigations
