Continuing with the investigation, the team discovers that Ketty – this is the name of the woman – also had other enemies, each with a plausible motive. The research intertwines with Gerri’s past, revealing a hidden identity: the inspector is actually Goran, a Roma child abandoned by his mother at the age of three in a family home.
Raised between doubts and silences, Gerri has always sought the truth about his origins. Thanks to the investigations and the unexpected help of colleague Marinetti, he begins to recompose the pieces of a painful personal puzzle. The meeting with Tano, a childhood friend, will be fundamental, who could finally throw light on truths remained buried. But digging in the past is never easy: the memory deceives, the memories are blurred, and the certainties become fragile.
