At the center of the meeting was the role of the BWT Alpine F1 Team in the weekend of the Italian Grand Prix in Monza and the transfer of skills from the track to the cars of the Alpine range
In one of the most eagerly awaited weekends for motorsport enthusiasts, Alpine shortens the thread that links F1 single-seaters to production GT cars. The occasion is the Monza Grand Prix, around which the brand has built a schedule of two events dedicated to technological transfer and the language of forms. An opportunity to see first-hand how the obsession with lightness and racing aerodynamics translates into pure emotion behind the wheel every day.
Alpine at the Monza Grand Prix
On the evening of 3 September, a preview presentation of the new spaces of the Atelier Alpine Milano took place, which will expand in the coming months to offer an even more welcoming, convivial and immersive environment for enthusiasts, customers and members of the Alpine community.
By the end of the year the rooms of the Atelier Alpine will be enriched with a new catering area in partnership with Cantun Bakery & Bistrot, a Milanese company that offers a sensorial and convivial experience resulting from the passion for hospitality and craftsmanship that distinguishes their food and beverage offering.
An evolution that confirms the role of the Atelier as a place for meeting and sharing, a point of reference capable of fully expressing the values of the brand and its presence in the heart of Milan.
The expansion of the spaces was born with the aim of strengthening the experience offered by the Atelier, transforming it increasingly into a home for fans of motorsport and models from Alpine’s 100% electric range as well as a point of reference for those who want to experience the brand beyond just the product.
The program of the week is enriched with the possibility of experiencing the passion for cars firsthand thanks to the Alpine range available for test drives, the possibility of trying a special professional driving simulator and live viewing of qualifying and the Monza GP for all F1 enthusiasts.
The protagonists of the meeting
An exclusive meeting also took place during the evening, entitled «Born to Race, Built to Dream», to tell the profound bond that unites Formula 1, technological innovation and the high-performance road cars that make up the Alpine range.
The protagonists of the meeting were Flavio BriatoreTeam Principal of the BWT Alpine F1 Team, and the two official drivers of the team, Pierre Gasly And Franco Colapinto.
During the discussion, the key themes of the Formula 1 season were addressed, the evolution of the team, Alpine’s future prospects in motorsport and the contribution of the drivers in developing performance on the track.
There is also ample space for the dialogue between track and road, a central element of the Alpine identity. Through the direct experiences of Pierre Gasly And Franco Colapintothe public was able to discover how technologies, driving sensations and know-how developed in motorsport are applied in the cars of the Alpine range, from the A290 to the new A390.
From the Monza race to the models in the Alpine range
The Monza weekend represents one of the most significant stages of the Formula 1 season and constitutes the ideal context to describe the Alpine philosophy: a continuous contamination between competition and product that fuels innovation, performance and driving emotion.
With the opening of the new spaces of the Atelier Alpine Milano and with the presence of the BWT Alpine F1 Team during the Monza weekend, Alpine confirms its ambition to build an ecosystem in which sporting passion, technology and automotive culture can meet and develop together.
