Herbie, the documentary dedicated to a musical genius

An artist who was able to cross genres and borders, from jazz to hip hop, from electronic to funk.

Thursday 5 March The Seeyousound Herbie Festival in Turin hosts Herbie, the documentary by Patrick Savey, which will be present in the room, dedicated to Herbie Hancock, one of the most revolutionary artists in the history of music.

Through the voices of legends such as Wayne Shorter, Marcus Miller and Miles Davis, the film takes us on a journey through Hancock’s career, an artist who has been able to cross genres and borders, from jazz to hip hop, from electronic to funk. But Herbie is not just a musical portrait: it is an exploration of the life philosophy of a man who made experimentation his compass.
