Camera Moda Fashion Trust announces the winners of the sixth edition of the CNMI Moda Fashion Trust Grant 2026. The initiative, dedicated to independent Made in Italy brands, was created thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency and with the patronage of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan. Three grants worth 70 thousand euros, as well as a business mentoring and one-to-one tutoring path offered by the Trust’s network, which were assigned to the ACT N°1, Institution and MATERIA brands. “Supporting young designers today means giving space to the future of Italian fashion”, explained the president of CNMI, Carlo Capasa, “Through CNMI Fashion Trust we want to continue to accompany talented creatives in the growth path of their brands, helping them to transform vision, research and quality into concrete and sustainable projects over time”. Selected from 80 applications and 11 finalists, the winners convinced the international jury, made up of journalists and industry insiders, including Leo Rongone, CEO of Moncler, Carolina Cucinelli, Vice President & Co-Creative Director of Brunello Cucinelli, Beka Gvishiani, Founder of Style Not Com and Stavros Karelis, Head of Fashion for the Onassis Foundation. “Throughout my professional career I have always tried to support Made in Italy and its industrial system. This new generation of talents represents the creative expression of the country and I therefore believe it is my duty to provide these young people, with the support of CNMI, with a concrete opportunity for professional growth”, underlined Roberta Benaglia, CEO of Style Capital SGR, a private equity fund management company that invests in the fashion and luxury sector which, together with Rosewood Rome, part of the Rosewood Hotel Group, made possible the creation of the sixth edition of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant. In detail of the winners, ACT N°1 was born in 2016 thanks to the vision of Luca Lin, who combines multicultural roots, sartorial codes and experimental silhouettes; Institution, on the other hand, is the creative, social and ethical project by Galib Gassanof which combines high fashion, artisanal practices at risk of disappearing and sustainable production models, using mainly natural fibres; Finally, MATERIA is a functional-inclusive fashion brand that redefines the relationship between body, dress and movement: designed to adapt and accommodate every body and identity, the brand develops as a system in which function becomes design language.
