A surveillance video from a factory in China has captured a shocking moment: a humanoid robot suddenly attempted to free itself from the constraints to which she was linked, attacking the operators present.
In the images (from X), the black robot appears connected to a small crane, but suddenly it begins to move the arms with growing violence. One of the operators, sitting in front of a computer, lowers, while another, behind the car, portrays frightened.
The robot, apparently without any external command, raises his arms and knocks them down several times, with increasingly faster and aggressive movements. In an attempt to escape, he starts walking and wasting himself, causing panic in the room. The two men seek refuge, protecting their face and running away from his trajectory.
In the chaos, the computer monitor falls and various objects are swept away. Only the intervention of one of the operators, who pulls the crane from behind, manages to stop the escalation of destruction.
The accident, which took place on May 1st, sparked viral reactions online. Many users defined the “dystopian” scene, while others, in an ironic tone, commented: “It started”.
