The Tuscan show closes with 15 thousand visitors, Milan opens with 83 appointments. Among the hot tickets, the debut of Thom Browne and De Nobiliary Particle.
As the curtain falls on the 110th edition of Pitti Uomo, which, based on initial findings, recorded 15 thousand attendees, of which 11 thousand buyers (-3%) and of these approximately half come from abroad as underlined by Ivano Cauli, CEO of Pitti Immagine, “If we look at the foreign data in more detail it is interesting to note the excellent performance of Germany, the United States, Hong Kong and Canada; the positive performance of the Scandinavian area and South-East Asia (Korea, Taiwan, Singapore); the exploits of Central and Eastern Europe (Romania, Poland and Hungary, even Ukraine!); the slowdowns of the traditional European markets, with the exception of Switzerland, Austria and Ireland. Some not positive results from very distant countries, such as Australia, suggest travel costs, which obviously have to be planned months in advance, an advance that fell in the darkest months of the ongoing conflicts the sums with more information and reports from our antennas inside and outside the Fortezza da Basso. From now on, however, I can say that it is not just a question of numbers, because the atmosphere these days is truly positive, right from the first hours. The main credit goes to the over 740 exhibitors who have believed and invested in the show, to their collections which express high craftsmanship and have an approach that is always open to experimentation, which combine contemporary sensitivity and elements of functionality in the different canons of men’s clothing. And a great contribution comes from collaborations international, testifying to a show that is always a platform for global commercial networking”. Milan, for its part, inaugurates the season of fashion shows dedicated to menswear for spring/summer 2027 with 83 total appointments of which 17 physical fashion shows and 7 digital events, 49 presentations, of which three by appointment, and 10 events.
