One chef and a restaurateur tell: “Confusion and fright. In a few minutes mass evacuation”. After the 7.7 magnitude earthquake recorded in Myanmar, the Italian chef Angelo Belluzzifrom Bangkok, says what happened: “It was a shock not too strong, but here in Thailand we are not used to. The state has closed schools, transport and other buildings and exercises. There have been a lot of confusion and fright, but now it seems that the situation is returning to normal”. Also Francesco Deianaowner of the La Dotta restaurant in Bangkok, described the immediate evacuation: “In a few minutes, mass evacuation, now the government is trying to help those who cannot go home”.
