Never seen photos of Villa Certosa. Berlusconi’s house is on sale for 500 million euros

The images released for the first time show the interiors and spaces of Silvio Berlusconi’s famous Sardinian residence, including seven swimming pools, monumental gardens, underground bunkers and a valuation of almost 500 million euros.

Hidden among the Mediterranean scrub of Punta Lada, in Porto Rotondo, Villa Certosa represents one of the most extraordinary private properties in Europe. Overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Costa Smeralda, the estate was for decades the summer refuge of Silvio Berlusconi, but also the stage for international meetings that contributed to writing some pages of contemporary diplomacy.

Larger in size than the Vatican City, the property is spread over approximately 120 hectares of park and gardens, where nature and architecture coexist in a balance studied down to the smallest detail. Artificial lakes, waterfalls, scenic caves, paths surrounded by greenery and thousands of botanical species from all over the world transform Villa Certosa into a unique place, conceived as a private oasis capable of blending scenic beauty, innovation and comfort.

Among its most famous elements are seven swimming pools, a wellness area complete with spa, a medicinal garden, an outdoor amphitheater and the famous “Vulcano”, an artificial mountain built inside the park from which water features and waterfalls descend. There is no shortage of structures designed to ensure maximum safety, such as the underground bunker.

Today, thanks to the over one hundred photographs published by The Certosa Estate website, it is possible to discover views and environments that have remained far from the public eye for a long time. Rooms overlooking the sea, monumental gardens, works of art and architectural details tell of a property designed not only as a residence, but as an expression of a precise idea of Italian excellence.

Put up for sale by his heirs after the death of Silvio Berlusconi and valued at around 500 million euros, Villa Certosa continues to exert the same charm that made it famous throughout the world.
