The complete program of the five evenings of the Festival: competition, guests and votes
Tuesday 24 February the Sanremo Festival begins. The first evening will be almost completely occupied by music. On the Ariston stage, all thirty of the big names selected by Carlo Conti will present their songs (i our opinions after preview listening). At the end of the performances the jury from the Press, TV and Web Room will vote.
Hosted by Carlo Conti with Laura Pausini, together with the Turkish actor Can Yaman (Sandokan). Super musical guest of the evening is Tiziano Ferro 25 years after Xdono, his first great success. Connection with Max Pezzali who will sing on board a ship moored off the coast of Sanremo.
On Wednesday 25 February 15 of the Big names in the competition will perform which will be evaluated by televoting and the radio jury. After the votes will be announced the top five positions in the provisional ranking however without indications on the order of placement. With Laura Pausini and Carlo Conti they will be there Achille Laurothe actress Pilar Fogliati and the comedian Lillo. The lineup also includes performances by four Nuove Proposte.
Thursday 26 February: it’s Eros Ramazzotti’s evening who will sing with Alicia Keys. The Kolors live in Piazza Colombo. As for the competition, there will be the decisive challenge between the two finalists of the New Proposals and the performances of the other 15 big names evaluated by Televoting and the Radio Jury. On stage, with Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini, the Russian top model Irina Shayk.
Friday 27 February: the fourth evening has always been the most fun of the Festival. The thirty competing artists accompanied by a guest present a repertoire of Italian and international covers. There will be a winner of the evening voted by Televoting, the TV and Web Press Room Jury and the Radio Jury. A connection with Franceso Gabbani is planned, live in Piazza Colombo.
Saturday 28 February: Giorgia Cardinaletti, journalist and presenter of Tg1, will join Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini. For the grand finale they go up all thirty competing artists on stage. Televoting, the TV and Web Press Room Jury and the Radio Jury vote. In the first phase, the top five positions in the ranking are announced. The five most voted perform again and are again subjected to the juries’ vote. From this last vote the winner emerges of the Festival. In Piazza Colombo the performance of Pooh who celebrate 60 years of career. On the Ariston stage the super guest is Andrea Bocelli. The Lifetime Achievement Awards will be awarded to Caterina Caselli, Fausto Leali and Mogol.
