A gigantography of the European Union flag has been burned under the Ministry of Education in Rome. The students and precarious workers, gathered in protest against the cuts to the school and the rearmament, exhibited banners with slogans such as “No to the school of Valditara and EU” And “We need more classrooms, no longer bombs”.
Among the posters stood out images with bloody hands over the faces of the leaders of the European Union, the Government and the opposition parties, in addition to the shape of Minister Valditara depicted as a “sheriff”. The demonstrators then set fire, using smoke bombs, to the maxi flag of Europe positioned on the ground in front of the ministry.
To the cry of “Red alert”the procession started towards Largo Argentina. “Let’s go to say it in Parliament what we ask,” said the students.
