The Revenue Agency service now allows you to follow documents, deadlines, appeals, payments and installments in a single space. Here are the new services and who can access them and how.
A 24-hour direct line with the tax authorities is underway: the Tax drawer of the Revenue Agency has changed its face. It is now possible to check notices, payments and the status of applications without the need to call or write to the offices. This way you have all your notices, deadlines and payments under control in one place. It will be easier to stay compliant and avoid nasty surprises.
Tax drawer: what’s new for taxpayers
Inside the reserved area of the Revenue portal you can now find documents that weren’t there before, with all the details necessary to understand what to do and when. In the “The Agency writes” section, accessible with SPID, CIE or CNS, various documents are available: notices of payment of registration taxes, including forfeiture of the “first home” benefit; documents relating to the substitute tax on loans; automated partial assessment notices; self-protection measures, both total and partial cancellation. Each digital document has an electronic signature and protocol number.
Real-time case status: how monitoring works
One of the most useful new features concerns the monitoring the progress of your practices. For each notice or assessment it is now possible to visually follow the entire process: from the deadlines to be respected, to any appeal, up to the payment or installment of the sums due. A wording appears next to each document indicating the exact status of the case and the updates are visible online from the day after they are entered into the system. This reduces the risk of paying the same tax twice or losing track of a payment already made.
Who can consult the documents in the Tax Drawer and how
Access to information remains confidential to protect privacy. The following can consult documents and the status of the procedures: the taxpayer concerned, the legal representatives (guardians, parents, special guardians, support administrators) and authorized trusted persons. No news on the access methods: you enter with the usual digital credentials, that is SPID, Electronic Identity Card (CIE) or National Services Charter (CNS).
