Velasco’s analysis
At the end of the game Julio Velasco he commented on the victory over France thus: “I have always preached one thing: you have to know how to play badly. When things don’t go very well, you have to know how to play anyway and find answers.” Then on the difficulty of the match: “We can’t expect to always take the lead, it would be a sin of presumption. Being humble means expecting that any opponent can put us in difficulty.”
