Jannik has the highest average of the season for the ratio of time spent on the pitch to prizes received. On Tuesday and Wednesday he will be on court at the Hurlingham Club in the Armani Tennis Classic ahead of Wimbledon
The statistics are from the site Tennis Connected which did the math for players on the international circuit in 2026 based on the minutes they were on the pitch. Jannik Sinner is also first in the world in this special ranking: 1403 euros for every sixty seconds played (converted from 1611 dollars). A fact that perfectly summarizes his season with very few misses, only three defeats at the Australian Open, Doha and Roland Garros, and a winning ride with triumphs in the five ATPs that have been played so far: Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Madrid and the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome. Behind him is Carlos Alcaraz with an average of 1320 euros per minute although he played far fewer tournaments than Sinner. Tthird place for Zverev with 1149 euros per minute, then Djokovioc (748) and in fifth place Flavio Cobolli who with the exploit of the final won at Roland Garros exceeded 2 million and 700 thousand euros in prizes won in 2026 (685 euros for every minute on the pitch).
Towards Wimbledon
Alcaraz won’t even be at Wimbledon where last year he was defeated in the final by Sinner. The Spaniard has resumed training after his wrist injury but the date of his return to a tournament is not yet known. Sinner, on the other hand, is already in London to train on grass and will participate in the on Tuesday and Wednesday Giorgio Armani Tennis Classican exhibition that has been held at the Hurlingham Club since 1994. The Italian could play an Italian derby against Flavio Cobolli or Luciano Darderithemselves entered in the exhibition tournament, or face one of the Norwegian Casper Ruud, Russian Karen Khachanov, American Learner Tien or British Cameron Norrie.
