It wins 88 million at the Superenalotto and the (almost ex) wife wants half of it

The winner of the 88 million at the Endalotto now finds himself having to deal with the (almost) ex -wife who would demand half the win from him.

If you think that the money solve any problem, go and tell the man who in recent days has won 88 million at Superenalotto. The lucky winner, who hit the fateful 6 with a ticket for only 3 euros, today finds himself having to deal with the (almost) ex -wife who asks him at least half of the booty.

The story, reported by “Il Messaggero”, would see a fifty -year -old from Caserta, who purchased the winning ticket in a receiver in via della Giustiniana 71 in Rome. However, what should have been a moment of joy has turned into a legal battle. The wife, from whom she is not yet legally separated, asked for half the winning or adequate monthly maintenance, by virtue of their regime of communion of goods. The couple, residing in Rovigo, had already started the practices for separation due to an alleged betrayal of the man, discovered by a private investigator assumed by the woman months earlier.

The most curious detail of the story concerns the way in which the wife would discover the win. Also according to “Il Messaggero”, the winner would have confided the news to his sister through a WhatsApp message. The message, in still unclear circumstances, would also have been read by his wife, who would have immediately contacted his lawyers to start judicial practices.

The woman’s lawyer is Francesco Di Giovanni, already known for having been involved in other media events. The woman’s lawyers argue that, being the winnings that took place while the marriage was still ongoing and the patrimonial regime in communion of goods, the sum falls within the marital heritage.

On the other hand, the winner’s lawyers claim that the separation was already in fact in place, with the husband who had left the marital roof for some time. According to this thesis, the win would be a personal event following the actual end of the marriage and therefore not subject to division.

While the truth will emerge in the next few days, one thing is certain: luck, sometimes, can turn into a sentence.
