The Maison returns to the evocative setting of the Mont Blanc Observatory with a campaign directed by Roman Coppola and a collection inspired by the magic of the holidays.
A library suspended in the mountains, sparkling Christmas trees, bright decorations and the pleasure of being together. Montblanc once again chooses the evocative setting of the Mont Blanc Observatory to tell the magic of the holidays through Happy Holidays 2026a campaign that celebrates the value of personal gestures and the art of choosing a gift capable of leaving a memory.
Interpreting this Christmas tale are Rupert Friend, Joey King, Daniel Brühl, Esther McGregor, Waris Ahluwalia and the global ambassador of the Maison Xin Zhilei, protagonists of a short film directed by Roman Coppola.
Between music, DJ sets and exchanges of gifts accompanied by handwritten cards, the director creates a festive and nostalgic atmosphere, in which the gift becomes above all an expression of attention and affection. An imagery that reflects Montblanc’s identity, which has always been linked to the value of writing and the ability of objects to preserve stories, emotions and personal connections.
The tradition of writing meets the spirit of Christmas
Also interpreting the spirit of the holidays is a selection of creations that crosses the different souls of the Maison, from writing instruments to leather goods, up to watchmaking. Among the protagonists are the iconic Meisterstück 149 fountain pen, with solid gold nib, and the Meisterstück Classique Bordeaux, which reinterprets one of Montblanc’s most representative models through an intense burgundy shade.
A capsule collection inspired by the magic of winter
Particular attention is paid to the Happy Holidays capsule collection, inspired by the beauty of winter landscapes and characterized by a palette of bronze, green and ivory. Small forest animals become the decorative motif of a collection that includes leather accessories, notepads and cases for writing instruments.
At the center of the proposal stands a special version of the Writing Traveler, the document folder designed by artistic director Marco Tomasetta as a portable desk, reinterpreted for the occasion in bronze-coloured laminated leather with a shaded effect and a lining illustrated with woodland creatures. Completing the Christmas universe are owl and squirrel-shaped charms and inks in the evocative Gingerbread and Scots Pine shades.
The pleasure of giving something that lasts over time
The selection extends to Companion and Panorama backpacks, travel bags and small leather accessories, up to the Iced Sea Automatic Date timepiece, whose black dial recalls the depths of the Mer de Glace glacier. Different creations, united by an idea of elegance destined to last beyond the holiday season.
