According to the latest Confesercenti-Ipsos research, 20 million Italians are on the hunt for the latest gifts and 26% choose physical and digital bookstores.
Last hours before Christmas and it’s the hunt for the last gifts. By Christmas Eve, in fact, there will be 20 million Italians busy with holiday shopping. The clock is ticking and most will choose physical stores with a budget of around 250 euros per person and a total turnover of 9.5 billion euros. This is what emerges from the latest Confesercenti-Ipsos survey, which highlights the centrality of fashion and cosmetics in choices, but also the constant presence of toys and books. In fact, 26% of those interviewed declared that they choose printed paper as a gift for the holidays.
